Established: 1966

The University of Bath is one of the new 'plate glass' universities established in the 1960's, Bath is an institution with a stellar reputation. The university offers a very diverse range of courses, including well-renowned MBA and translation courses. The University came first in the 2013 National Student Survey for satisfaction. The campus is located near to the tourist city of Bath, famous for its Roman bath houses.
Entry Requirements

Undergraduate: Admissions require top grades at A-Level with twelve applications for each place, the number of applications rising by 16 per cent in 2007.The university has grown rapidly, particularly in the last few years. As of December 2013, 15,964 students were studying at the university; of whom 11,018 were undergraduates (full-time and part-time) and 4,946 were postgraduates.Over 30% of students are international students (those with non-British domicile), reflecting the university's strong international reputation, with the largest number coming from China (including Hong Kong), France, India and Malaysia.

Postgraduate: Students want to apply taught Master's programmes normally require a First Class or high Upper Second Class UK honours degree, or its foreign equivalent.
