Paul Pindar
Sir Paul Pindar (1565–1650) was a merchant and, from 1611 to 1620, was Ambassador of King James I of England to the Ottoman Empire.
Born in Wellingborough and educated at Wellingborough School Pindar entered trade as the apprentice to an Italian merchant in London.

Swansea University is a public research university located in Swansea, Wales. It is the third largest university in Wales in terms of number of students. The university campus is located next to the coast at the north of Swansea Bay, east of the Gower Peninsula, in the grounds of Singleton Park, just outside Swansea city centre. Swansea and Cardiff University compete in an annual varsity match, known as the Welsh version of the Oxbridge event, which includes the Welsh Varsity rugby and The Welsh Boat Race. It is the third largest university in Wales in terms of number of students.
