Established: 1821Heriot-Watt University is a public university based in Edinburgh, established in 1821 as the world's first mechanics' institute. It has been a university by Royal Charter since 1966. Undergraduate: Highers BBBBC OR AAAB, A-Levels ABC or BBB or higher or its non-UK equivalent.
Postgraduate: A ﬁrst or second class Honours degree or its non-UK equivalent in a relevant subject from a recognised British or Overseas University.
