Equal consideration deadline for most undergraduate courses. Applications after this date may not receive equal consideration.
February - June
Universities review applications and send conditional or unconditional offers through UCAS Track.
Universities must make decisions on all applications submitted by the January deadline by mid-May.
Deadline to reply to all offers. Choose your Firm choice and Insurance choice (if applicable).
July - September
International Baccalaureate results released. Universities begin confirming places for IB students.
Results released for A-Level students. Confirmation of places or entry into Clearing.
Apply for your Student visa after receiving your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies).

While the main deadline is January 29, international students have until June 30 for guaranteed consideration. However, we strongly recommend applying by the January deadline for the best chance of acceptance, especially for competitive courses.
If you're planning a gap year, you can apply for deferred entry. Use the same deadlines but indicate you want to start in September of the following year. Most universities accept deferred applications, but check individual course policies.
Postgraduate applications are typically made directly to universities, not through UCAS (except for some taught courses). Deadlines vary by institution - many have rolling admissions, so apply early for the best chance of funding and accommodation.
