Who is Exempt?

Some applicants may be exempt from English language test requirements.

You may be exempt if:

  • Nationality from majority English-speaking country (UK, USA, Australia, etc.)
  • Previous degree taught entirely in English
  • Secondary education completed in English (usually 2+ years)
  • IB students with English A or B at Higher Level (grade 5+)
  • A-Level English Language at grade C or above
  • Specific country agreements (check with individual universities)

💡 Even if exempt, consider taking a test anyway - it can strengthen your application and help you prepare for academic study in English.
